When fall comes around, I often find myself drifting back into the same basic outfit combo - what I like to call my autumn "uniform". Nine times out of ten, I can be spotted wearing some kind of variation of a top + skirt + flats/loafers. I might add some tights one day, or pull on a sweater over my button down, but the basic principle is the same. It's such an easy and put-together look that often I just find myself gravitating to the same formula whenever I pick out an outfit.
Especially on busy mornings, having a "uniform" makes deciding what to wear much easier. Today, I thought I would share a few different variations on the same look to see how you can take a simple outfit formula and change up the pieces to create the illusion of a different look each day.
I love this button-down chino skirt from J.Crew, and pairing it with a lightweight turtleneck makes the perfect combo for those warmer days in early fall. The star of this outfit, however, is definitely these tiger-print loafers. J.Crew had several printed items in their later summer line, but this pair of shoes definitely takes the cake!

It is good to go through plans and uniforms, I really liked the way this blogger has dress codes according to the seasons. Anyways this looks a decent one!
